I just dropped a 2.5kg weight by accident earlier, thank goodness the floor was okay.

Went for my NS check-up at 0800 today and it lasted 4 hours. Lunch at my favourite canteen at Woodlands Industrial Park, and back home as usual to do some work.

Typical, boring, no-lifer's life.

Who knows, if this boredom persists, I'll probably do some sampling at the bus-stop near my house to see the probability of each bus arriving.

Just kidding.

Terminating Neopets Premium

I've gone back to Neopets for fun just recently and I realised they had this Neopets Premium function which they offered a 15-day trial for - so I decided to give it a try.

Within 3 days, I was bored of Neopets again and I tried to cancel the Premium subscription, which they would charge me $12.99 USD if I didn't manage to terminate the subscription in time.

For 12 days, I tried to contact them through e-mail to no avail. I think I would have sent up to 30 e-mails, none of which received a reply. Their "live chat" service" was also pretty messed up for me considering North America is practically on the other side of the world. I had to stay up to 1am today so that I could terminate my account without wasting more money on this crappy service.

I don't really think the Premium was really worth it considering the benefits are limited, and the support you get is apparently as limited as the benefits they provide.

Neopets is actually pretty fun when you need a break from work, but I find that it gets boring really quickly due to lack of novelty since you basically play games after games trying to get NeoPoints.

People have told me "Dude why are you playing Neopets? You're such a sissy."

Neopets is a family-friendly game for all ages, and playing Call Of Duty 4 doesn't make you much more masculine just because you carry a pixel gun and fire at pixel enemies. Both of those are games that can provide entertainment and that's all there is to it.

Apparently Manchester United might want to sign Udinese Alexis Sanchez, but he's pretty costly considering that I heard Barcelona was about to offer Suarez and a lot of money for Sanchez.

No doubt he's talented, but I think Manchester United could do with a stronger midfield since Scholes left. Sanchez is generally a winger or a forward and I don't really think he's suited to play midfield, although he has been assigned that role a couple of times.

Other than that I don't think I did much today, as usual. I'm just wasting my holidays away.

Hope to get started on work soon. Anyway, I made 12 USD from PostLoop today. Awesome place to make easy cash on Paypal. You should try it if you haven't. Most importantly, let me refer you by clicking on that square ad ;)

Also, I think I made my blog public again and I hope people enjoy reading about what little things that I do during the holidays. Cheers.

That's right.

After a long hiatus from blogging, I've decided to come back to where I left off about 2 years ago. Now that it's the June holidays, I would have more time to sit down at the end of each day and reflect on what I have done, and perhaps just record them down in text, so that I may one day look back and laugh at my "adventures".

I've read my previous blogs that I've written when I was younger and I'm pretty ashamed that my English has deteriorated since then. Hopefully I'll be able to improve my English in the days to come.

Meanwhile I'll probably do up the sidebars - I haven't had time to do them up yet.

It was a busy day trying to get the blog running with all the blogskins and HTML stuff. For now, I think I'll call it a day.
